This mixed media artwork was made using left over paint from a kid's holiday art class I taught. I always get so inspired by the kids and want to create for hours afterwards. There was so much paint left over, I grabbed my watercolour paper and created 4 backgrounds with it. This one using a trowel, then adding gesso and posca pens.

The Blue Mountains is my home. I draw a lot of inspiration from the bush in my daily life and my paintings.

This is an abstract painting relating to the many bushwalks in the Blue Mountains National Park and the waterways my family and I love to visit. It is about the magic of the seasons and looking at markers relating to them. Wattle season, yabby season, echidna mating season. If you follow the same paths you notice the markers of these events.

Framed measurements are 51.5x66x1.5cm

Check our Abstract Tracks as they were made together.
