I'm On Pinterest Baby!

Don't you just love Ah ha moments?

I had one of these a few weeks ago whilst learning about Pinterest.

I think I had it in my head that it was just another social media page.

I was wrong!

It is a visual search engine. It is a visual treasure of juicy goodness! Anything you can think of is on there, not just art. It is a virtual pinboard for anything your heart desires. Looking for recipe inspiration? What dog your family should get? Ideas for what to plant in your garden? Colour palette ideas for the room you want to paint? Yoga moves to do at home? Ideas for your loungeroom furniture? Pintrest has it all!

This realisation shifted things for me.

I am going through some major changes this year personally and work wise.

I still had my regular job that paid the bills and was happy to do my art on the side. But this year I have felt a huge push to do more with my art.

For the last couple of months, I have been up until 1 and 2am most nights trying to figure out what my focus is going to be, what my niche is, who my ideal clients are and am loving it! Not the lack of sleep part but the learning stuff part.

I have joined some incredibly supportive, uplifting Facebook groups and met some inspiring people who have helped me ask myself some hard questions, get rid of old thought patterns towards self-worth, money and my passion.

God it feels good to be free of all that stuff and having it front of mind to work on!

It feels like such a transformation.
